In this year of major anniversaries for the Palestinian struggle – the tenth year of the blockade of Gaza, fiftieth year of the Occupation and the centenary of the Balfour Declaration – Amos Trust, working with Justin Butcher and Palmusic UK, invites you to commemorate the Nakba (Catastrophe) of Palestinian exile and dispossession in this stunning concert in the exquisite setting of the Priory Church of the Order of St John, Clerkenwell.
Built in the 12th century by the Knights of St John in emulation of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Priory Church and Museum maintain links to this day with Jerusalem through their support for the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group in Gaza, East Jerusalem and the West Bank.
All proceeds from this concert will go to supporting Amos Trust’s advocacy work in the West Bank and Gaza. For further details, please visit amostrust.org/palestine
