We are lost for words at the horrific devastation and loss of innocent lives at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City yesterday.
We remain immensely concerned for the safety of students, families and teachers at the Edward Said National Conservatoire of Music in Gaza. The ESNCM have said: 'We check with our students everyday. One musician was in the Baptist hospital that was bombed half an hour before the attack. Many of our musicians lost their homes, property, family, neighbours and friends'.
PalMusic continues to teach ESNCM students long-distance online and understand from the conservatoire faculty that the 'fun' sessions are bringing some relief and a small ray of light to young musicians.
